Since my first visit, I have returned 3 times and I felt the need for this review. To me, it's an unknown treasure in this town. During my recent visit, I was treated to a memorable evening filled with exceptional food, friendly service, and a warm Texas ambiance.
Walking into West Texas Chophouse, you are immediately struck by its rustic charm. The interior boasts a blend of Texan and Southwestern aesthetics, featuring warm wooden accents, leather seating, and Western-themed décor. The spacious dining area is comfortable, and there is also an outdoor patio for al fresco dining. It's a place that combines a relaxed, casual atmosphere with a touch of upscale dining. We (me and my wife) had dinner last night to celebrate my new job. Our server was named Manny. I don't know his last name but the experience was like no other we've ever had at other steak houses. The food was perfect. We started with the spinach artichoke dip so delicious. I had a medium sirloin steak and it was the best steak I've ever had the flavors melt right in your mouth, along with my broccoli seasoned to perfection. Asparagus had nice big tips the way we love them. My persnickety wife when we go to other steak houses often has to send her filet mignon back because she loves it medium rare which other steak houses get wrong the 1st time but now here. It was perfect along with the rest of her food.
The staff at West Texas Chophouse were both welcoming and knowledgeable. Our server was attentive and eager to provide insights into the menu and specials of the day. They displayed a genuine passion for the cuisine and a commitment to ensuring a pleasant dining experience. However, there were a few instances when the service felt slightly rushed, but overall, it was courteous and efficient.

If you're new to this spot, take my advice - the Alejandro's Favorite and Mac & Cheese burgers were simply out of this world - bursting with flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. Each bite is a culinary masterpiece, and I found myself savoring every mouthful. If burgers aren't your thing, they offer a great ribeye with fantastic flavor and well cooked. The flavor profile is very good and definitely cooked with attention and care. I would recommend anyone who enjoys a nice steak to visit this place. And best of all - the price is amazing. Usually steaks of this quality will easily run you over $75.00 each. The price for the ribeye was like $49. Outstanding.
