Voodoo Donuts in Austin, A+!

Let me just say that if you love donuts, and if this place doesn't catch your eye... well them you must have a weird point of view. This place, in Austin, is to die for.

Voodoo Donuts is a unique donut shop. I was a little skeptical but when i got inside and saw the vibes, I was all in. The prices are undeniable a bargain for the deliciousness they are serving up. Before I visited this spot, everyone talked about it and I used to think to myself - "What's all the hype about?"

Well, when i tell you I'm tickled about the first experience because it was so wild that I couldn't remember the names of the donuts I ordered but they were outstanding. Look at the picture (above) and take a guess. I can tell you that whatever they were, I will order again...and again...and again.

This spot is truly original and the staff was so kind and helpful with assistance in making my selection that it's impossible to forget. I'm a very simple person. I go for the basics. I don't like anything stuffed with filling and I am not crazy about tons of icing and goofy toppings. Well, after receiving my first order ever from Voodoo Donuts, I considered every item to be perfect. From what the person waiting behind me said, it appears they might even sell donuts at concerts as well. That is wild!

For the past 4 years, VooDoo Doughnuts is one of our all time favorite donut places. We've been to their locations in Portland, LA, and now Austin! On my second visit to Voodoo, I went with one of my go-to's - the Bacon Maple Bar. Celeste, my best friend, tried 'the Chuckle's' and it was amazing. It was Snickers in donut form! Isn't that amazing?!

As soon as you walk in, it's kind of like a old school dinner with a good vibe: you walk up and they have a turning display case of all the crazy great looking doughnuts they have here. If you want something custom just let them know and they will have it for you. They are that helpful. Truly. I loved it.

The ladies at the front counter ask any questions to ensure you're getting what you want and then you get the donuts. Not only are the goodies cool-looking, but taste excellent. Voodoo Donuts is a must go and check out if you love good service and great treats.
