La Mies offers authentic Mexican food, mostly cuisine from State of Veracruz style plates and other parts of Mexico. Their Pozole is great; also suadero tacos, quesabirrias and iconic artisan sweet bread.

This place made me nostalgic for sure. My mom is a Veracruzana and as I remembered what would have been her 80th birthday my hubby and I stumbled on this place. All I can say is 100% authentic, it felt like my mom was in the kitchen cooking my food. Friendly staff, food is well portioned (more than enough). The ambiance is casual and inviting. Just what you'd expect.
