The Best Sweet & Savory Soufflés in Dallas: rise soufflé

A soufflé is a light, fluffy dish made typically with a base of egg yolks and beaten egg whites combined with various other ingredients to create both sweet and savory variations. The base ingredients are often enriched with cheese, chocolate, fruit, vegetables, or other flavorings. Some are enormous. Some a rather small. But every concept of a soufflé is enough to make everyone's mouth water.


And if you live in Dallas there is ONE place for the best soufflés in the entire city: rise soufflé. Rise Souffle' is located on the 5300 block of W Lovers Lane, near the Inwood Village Shopping Mall.


My favorite thing on the menu is the 'Marshmallow soup.' An absolute must have. We had the rise salad today and it was super fresh with just the right amount of dressing. My friend got the French onion soup and said it was the best he ever had. From the savory soufflé section, we got the ham and cheese one today and it was light cheesy and delicious. I've had their duck l'orange soufflé on another occasion and it was fantastic! But it's a seasonal one so if they have it when you go, you must get it! From the sweet soufflés, I always end up getting the chocolate one and it's such a lovely cloud like light soufflé.


My recommendation: Consider ordering the champagne soaked cranberries, which is a seasonal item (so keep that in mind). It is delightful, especially with the sauce that our server so artfully added to our dessert souffle.

They also take pride in creating unique concepts for picky eaters. Some of their soufflés can be made gluten free, but they cannot be made without butter or cheese (important to know). We provide calories for a few of our popular soufflés on our website, but do not have the information for our crawfish soufflé. Their truffle mushroom soufflé contains eggs, mushroom, cheese, and truffle oil and is DELICIOUS! Also, due to their delicate nature, they do not offer our soufflés 'to-go.'


I've been to this spot four times since November 2023 and the service has always been incredibly efficient and friendly. Our servers have been very helpful with recommendations and get our food to us in a surprisingly timely manner given the preparation time required for a soufflé. We also appreciated how much they went above and beyond for a birthday celebration providing decorations at the table. They go the extra-mile.

And the decor will thrill you. So different! The moment patrons step through the door, they are transported into a whimsical wonderland of culinary delights. The interior is adorned with pastel-colored walls adorned with vintage-inspired posters celebrating the art of soufflé-making. Tables are adorned with delicate floral arrangements and flickering candles, casting a soft, inviting glow across the room. The ceiling is adorned with whimsical paper lanterns, gently swaying in the breeze that filters in through lace-curtained windows. Each corner of the restaurant holds a treasure trove of unique decor, from antique teapots repurposed as flower vases to shelves lined with vintage cookbooks. Patrons are greeted with warmth and hospitality, making every visit feel like a delightful escape into a world of culinary enchantment.


The ambiance here is immaculate. I feel like I've been transported to France. They have lots of decorations inside even inside their restrooms! Service was also amazing. Our waitress was kind and attentive always checking up on us to make sure we're good.

The spot is well-known for its airy atmosphere, unique design and achieved a great reputation for incorporating a phenomenal concoction of whipped egg whites into the mixture, which expand during baking, causing the soufflé to rise dramatically in the oven. That's what they do and that's what they are known for. Soufflés are often served as either a savory main course or a sweet dessert, depending on the ingredients used and this business figured out how it's done right! To make a great soufflé, it require precise techniques to achieve the desired lightness and rise, and they are usually served immediately after baking, as they tend to deflate shortly after being removed from the oven. And this spot, 'Rise Soufflé' is the place to go when you feel hungry and in the mood for something new!


You will not be sorry. Love this place!
