Italian Dining in Beaumont: Bruno's!

If you have a list of incredible restaurants that you relish, eateries that you frequent, and restaurants you invite your friends and relatives to, please make sure Bruno's Italian Kitchen is on that list.

I had the pleasure of having a solo lunch today at Bruno's on Dowlen. My entire lunch included more than the delicious food, but also the welcoming staff, and the owner who I found to be very approachable and hospitable. Angel was my waitress. She made appetizer suggestions that were truly on point. I selected the Alfredo Spinach Dip for $8.00. It was hot, creamy and each bite of alfredo, spinach, and cheese swirled together, amplifying each other's flavor, it was just divine. With my entèe came a chose of soup or salad. Being a soup person I chose the tomato basil soup. Smooth and satisfying to my palate and taste. I would order both again and ask for 'Angel' when I return.

For my entrèe I ordered the Chicken Venito. Diced chicken breast with mushrooms , crushed red peppers and onions in a spicy pink sauce. Mine was served over zucchini noodles by request. It was packed with flavor. The zucchini noodles were a perfect cradle for the mildly spicy sauce, very satisfying yet didn't have me feel stuffed. For dessert, I was complimented with their very popular bread pudding. An old fashion favorite modernized to a confectionary masterpiece. Served warm and moist with an artisanal presentation that will leave you wanting more. It was fantastic!

What makes them even more special is how they care for their community. They could teach a class on "being there for your folks." About four months ago, we needed to raise money for a needy cause and we contacted Bruno's for help. They immediately took charge and gave us all the support we needed. It was a spaghetti dinner fundraiser and Bruno's hooked us up with lots of bread, salad, and ranch dressing, they were so generous. Not only that, they wanted to be a part of it. You could tell.

On top of their amazingly tasting food, this business showed true class and a genuine love for their community. This is my go-to Italian food place from now on!!!

The food here is always delicious and the prices are great. They also host parties which is great for the holidays. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. This is a woman owned business which I really support. The owner is often seen mingling with customers and is very welcoming. That's what I like in a boss.

When in Beaumont...give them a try! You won't be disappointed!
