My mother-in-law is a pure-blood Cajun. She was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana. And when she's in town, we need to eat what she loves. And she LOVES Razzoos!

The last time we paid Razzoo's a visit, she ordered the alligator and my wife and I ordered the salmon, jambalaya and gumbo. We all loved it. Every single item was delicious.

Six months before that, we paid them a visit and we ordered the fried crawfish and catfish platter - cleared off all our food. Not a crumb remained. The crawfish were buttery and bite size, the catfish wasn't over-done or hard with batter. My wife said - "I would love to come back when the careful and oysters are in season again...they were wonderful the last time."

About six months before that, we sat on the patio to people watch and enjoy a peaceful evening. The oysters were flavorful (as my better-half mentioned) and just right amount of cheese: the boudin balls were filling and spicy. If you can remember - order the boudin balls for a meal to-go. You will be so happy.

So, I ordered the Cajun fried steak with green beans, mashed potatoes and hush puppies to go. I enjoyed it as a phenomenal meal at work the next day. Everyone at the office was saying - "Oooh, what is that?" I was the envy of the office.

Every time we pay Razoos a visit, our servers are attentive, patient and accommodating.

This place is awesome, great atmosphere, lighting for pictures is GREAT!! Food was even better we had a variety from chicken to seafood and everything was delicious!! The drinks were good as well. Super cold draft beer!

Now, about the drinks - Kevin (the bartender) can steer you in the right direction; he'll never do you wrong. He knows everything about craft cocktails, has a great attitude and he clearly does his homework; constantly learning new ways to become a better bartender. You can tell him your preferences (sweet, sour, fruity, etc.) and he will whip you up the most extravagant cocktail for you. Do not be afraid to put him to the test. I bet he even likes a challenge. He told us that he here most weeknights and usually Friday/Saturday nights. Trust us - you don't want to miss this man work. He loves to talk drinks and sports, knows the menu by heart.

Overall, I can't wait to return and try more of what's on the menu and to enjoy that nice patio in Sundance Square! If you're in Fort Worth, Texas and Cajun cuisine s your thing, this is the place for you.
