We met our daughter's best friend in Tyler and decided to meet up at Piada.
If you've never heard of Piada, it's a small restaurant/deli chain that offers fast casual, authentic eatery serving hand rolled Piadas, Pasta Bowls and Chopped Salads.
Now, here's the good about Piada: the entire spot is clean and spacious, and plenty of seating. As you can imagine, they have a set menu (see picture below) but it's a good bar full of choices, you just choose the protein and the sides. They have flavored tea (peach limón) was right on point. The food felt fresh, and very tasty. You can add different toppings and add ons. Parking is free and share with the other restaurants. Service is fast, and they are all wearing mask and gloves. Bathrooms are sparkling clean.

The only 'issue': they've got one large table for big groups and the rest of the table offer seating for a max of 4 people, so if you have a big group you might need to seat separate. Chairs are really heavy and sturdy.
Also, there are so many options for piadas and salads that I can eat there regularly and never get bored. Every time I visit, I can enjoy something new to experience. They are diligent with carryout orders as I have had maybe one minor issue, and they resolved it quickly and easily. Awesome customer service. Secondly, the inside of the restaurant has always been as clean and inviting as anywhere in Tyler; if you are nervous about eating out during pre/post COVID concerns, you can definitely rest assured that there won't be a problem at Piada.
Additionally, since I'm vegan (I love pasta)...and I originaly assumed this was mostly a pasta place, but don't make the same mistake! Their piadas (wraps) are delicious, but the CYO salad has become my go-to and I don't know if I ever want to have another salad without roasted broccoli in it. Easy to order on the app and walk in and pick up (my fav!), this has become an almost weekly lunch.

Before leaving Tyler, we went once more that weekend at lunch. Once again, ther food was good, fresh and flavorful. On large order was well conceived and thoughtful. Everything was carefully packed in the bags. The prices, again, were more than reasonable. When I picked up our order, it was pretty busy, but they moved through the line quickly and I didn't see anyone waiting more than 15 minutes max to order their food. My order included 4 orders for kids and it was clear that the portions were 'family friendly.' While eating, we shared each other's orders. So good! My recommendation is that if it's busy and you go there with a group, have someone secure a table and take their order so that you can get a place to sit. My family and I will go back to this place for sure.

The food is really good and the service is fantastic! We all enjoyed our food and would return any time we are passing through.
