Best Chinese Cuisine in Mesquite, TX - Three Yuan Join

Chinese food, "to go", is one of my big things. I love it. I order it all the time. My parents live in Mesquite now, and when I go to see them on the weekends or during the holidays, I enjoy visiting one place for the best Chinese food imaginable - Three Yuan Join.

If you're not familiar with this spot, it's on East Davis Street, across from Anytime Fitness; can't miss it. And it's important to note that this restaurant isn't built within a strip mall (like more are). It appears to be a former brick-and-mortar retailer or perhaps a bank that was converted into a restaurant. So, it stands out and offers lots of parking for everyone.

Well, I can't say enough about this place. Everything is done perfectly. Portions are extremely generous; definitely a hidden gem in Mesquite. When I visit this spot throughout the year, I was order the spicy beef with jalapeños and noodles. Perfect and their noodles are the best in town - actually, probably the best in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. And as I mentioned earlier, it's always a good take out option in the Winter, because it's great to hold a warm bag when it's cold out there, LOL. But don't stop in just in the winter months! This place thrives on repeat customers and the folks who work there are really nice, hard working people; one of the reasons why this has been my go to place for take-out food for the past few years.

Then, about two months ago, my fiancé and I were traveling from Denver to Louisiana and we were going to be driving through Mesquite. We wanted something a little different and as we were passing through town. So I said - "Why not again?!?!" When we pulled up late at night, I was a little nervous that we missed their open time(s) until the sweetest employee brought us our food, despite the hour. She said - "So happy to see you! Please let us know if you need anything else before you go!" Now THAT is service.

Let me tell you I have not had great Chinese food in a while...until this place and I have never seen this kind of service anywhere. By the way, that night I had ordered the pineapple chicken and my fiance ordered the honey chicken. We pulled over in a parking lot, and started to chow down, sharing each other's dishes to sample it all. Both were fantastic.

Honestly I love great service & even more fast service. Just to hear someone repeat your order back & confirm it once more before you leave the store is just the BEST!
