Wichita Falls is a city in northern Texas. In the center, the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum honors notable wrestlers and displays memorabilia. If you're a big pro-wrestling fan, this is your spot to visit. And the best pizza in the entire city is at Stone Oven, by far.

About three years ago, I came here with five friends the day before birthday. We walked in when doors opened and ordered. We all ordered a wide variety of different slices and then we started commenting on how good every slice was. Then, we start ripping pieces of pizza off and sharing them with each other. We were all amazed at the flavors. Everyone at the table was sharing different flavors and commenting how awesome them were. The pizza slices were really large - reminded me of Sam's Club pizza slices.

After we call devoured the pizza slices, we looked at the menu and start making more choices - two of my friends ordered two different sandwiches. Three of us ordered wings, and one wing flavor was amazing - Garlic Parmesan. Hands down, THE BEST.

My other friend ordered 'plain wings'. She said they were crispy, but needed more seasoning. The manager didn't hesitate - fixed up right up with a smile. All of our slices were pretty good. The slices range $6 and up; totally worth it. They even have military discounts for those who served our country. Having said that, this isn't a cheap pizza spot, but if you get it when they aren't busy, the wait isn't long...and it's still worth the wait. When we were eating our sandwiches, the assistant manager came to out table to make sure we didn't need anything and ask for our honest opinion on our meal. Imagine that?!

Then, about a year ago, we ordered pizza for delivery from Stone Oven. My favorite part about their menu is the local collaborations with other restaurants in the area. We tried the Birria pizza which came with a side of sauce to dip in. It was so good! High quality pizza and amazing taste. We also ordered a salad which was delicious, and they even kept all toppings separate so it wouldn't become soggy. The service was much quicker than we expected and it took only about 30 minutes from the time we ordered to when it was at our house.

The dining area is nice, very clean. Probably seats about 2 dozen people or so. We all enjoy the atmosphere, the pizza, wings and sandwiches.

So...about two months ago, I returned again with my best friend from work. I could be wrong, but it appeared that the aesthetics of this place changed since my first visit. No harm done, it was an improvement (I think). I found the dining area nice-and-neat (once again) and the customer service was amazing...yet again.

My co-worker friend had also heard of this place through the radio station (106.3 the Buzz) and had to give it a try. After dining, she had the same opinion I did - the pizza at Stone Oven is unlike your average chain pizza place. She said - "You CAN taste the quality." I totally agree.

Since then, I've eaten here about two or three times and we have ordered pick-up orders from work about 10 times, especially when it's time for a pizza party at the office. Every single time, the food was great and was quick, made to order.

My neighbor had even visited with her four kids (6 and under) and she later posted on Facebook at the owner was so sweet to the kids and even helped them to play some of the games they had in the restaurant! Now THAT is worker pride.

I definitely recommend you come by this local business and give it a try. It's on the 800 block of 7th street, on the opposite side of the street from La Posada Apartments.

Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed! Stone Oven Pizza rocks!
