About two years ago, we were visiting New Braunfels from Denver. We spent the weekend 'floating the river' as they say and all I can say is - 'wow, what a great city.'

Then, a year ago (one year later), I found myself back in New Braunfels for three days and I brought my family. Using Trip Advisor, we made the decision to go eat at Muck and Fuss because one of the food reviews we read had it listed as the best spot in the city. Not only that, this spot had consistent 5-star reviews. Clearly the reviews met the expectations.

We didn't call ahead and arrived at about 7 pm, were added to the waitlist and told it would be about 45-60 minutes. The hostess said, with a smile - "Please feel free to go out back there are some beige umbrellas out there. Have a drink or two and play a few games while you wait". Sounded good to us! So we did. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and our table was available long before we anticipated.

Once we were seated, the wait staff was truly amazing. Our server, Hank, was in training and did a wonderful job with a little help from his wingman, the trainer. I am sorry that I didn't catch her name. We all ordered an assortment of burgers and left smiling and truly satisfied - the Diablo Burger w/ sweet potato fries and the Shrimp Tacos also w/ sweet potato fries. When the bill came, I was more than happy with the end result, cost.

Note - if you're a beer drinker, Muck and Fuss offers various beer selections, but my family and I were just there for food however my wife did order a sangria from the bar.

The third time I visited Muck and Fuss, I had moved to New Braunfels for work. And once again, I ordered the hamburger. Once again - delicious! The burger entrée had an amazing presentation, and over all it was phenomenal!

The next evening, I brought my new work team there again and we loved every bite, and they even noticed that they offered a military discount (which was a big help to three of my team)! We went 'burger crazy' - ordering the Diablo Burger, Southwest Fries, Pulled pork fries and the tacos. Due to the busy restaurant, the bartender served us with a smile. He was also overworked buy smiled through the pain. It was great, truly appreciated. Tyler was his name and he was attentive, trying his very best while also handling the bar. Kudos to that kind of work ethic.

I returned once more and ordered a gigantic order for my entire team at work: Three Cubano Burgers, Two Diablo Burgers, Three Juicy Lucys and four Steak House. Every single hamburger was gone - vanished at the end of our dinner. Not a single morsel spared.

The ambiance of the dining room is similar to Salt Grass Steakhouse with all the old utensils on the wall. It's cool and unusual. Nice atmosphere. Solid food through and through and definitely worth the price!

When you're in New Braunfels and if you love burgers, this spot is definitely for you.
